Every top-200 channel, every minute
Once a channel reaches the Twitch top 200, Headcount keeps tracking it: viewers and category each minute, chat as it happens, and the follower total.
Twitch bot signals / early data
Headcount follows every channel that reaches the Twitch top 200 and puts each stream’s viewers beside its chatters and follows. Twelve detectors turn that into one number, the sus quotient. A high score says the data looks like bots, not who sent them. Collection began in October 2026, so scores are still provisional.
For viewers, streamers and researchers who want to check a Twitch viewer count against the chat and follows behind it.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
Once a channel reaches the Twitch top 200, Headcount keeps tracking it: viewers and category each minute, chat as it happens, and the follower total.
When a stream ends, twelve detectors each rate one kind of evidence, such as chat that stays flat while viewers spike or follows that arrive in bursts. They combine into a sus quotient from 0 to 100. Live streams get a provisional score after an hour.
Every recent stream, placed by audience size against how many of its viewers chat, with a band for what is typical at that size. Filter by window, language or category.
Look up a channel or a category, and compare a stream with others in the same category.
HOW TO READ IT
Channels are ordered by sus quotient, with live viewers, the last three hours of viewers and the current category beside each one.
A stream page charts viewers, chatters and follows across the stream and shows how each detector rated it.
Chat can be quiet for ordinary reasons: restricted chat, an audience that watches without typing, embedded or muted players. The weights are set by hand and have not been calibrated against confirmed cases.
A FEW DETAILS
No. Headcount reads public data through the Twitch API and anonymous chat. Twitch does not make or endorse it.
No. It means the stream has patterns that view-bots, follow-bots and chat-bots produce. Someone else can send bots to a channel, and some honest streams look unusual. Treat a high score as a reason to look closer.
Collection began in October 2026. A channel’s score averages its last ten streams and is pulled towards zero when there are only a few, so early values are provisional and move often.

Counting every minute takes a server, and SUBCULT pays for it. Support goes to the studio, not to any channel, and does not change a score.
