SUBCULTURE COLLECTIVE / INDEPENDENT SOFTWARE

Tools for the culture
we build together.

We make software for people who run things: a clip channel, an archive, a food run, a Friday show, a desktop with too many widgets. 23 products so far. None of them wants your attention for longer than the job takes.

MEDIA / COMMUNITY / LIVE CULTURE

01 Twitch clips

clpr

The clip you can’t find is probably in here.

You saw it live, and now it’s buried under a week of chat. clpr sorts Twitch clips by creator, topic and tag. Save the good ones to playlists and send them to whoever missed it.

  • by creator
  • by topic
  • by tag
  • playlists

02 Mutual aid / pre-alpha demo

Patchwork

A neighborhood board for asking and offering help.

Someone two streets over needs a ride on Thursday, and you have a car on Thursday. Patchwork is where the two of you would find each other. It is a pre-alpha demonstration, so please don’t arrange real help through it yet.

  • Demonstration only
  • Requests show an approximate area

03 Broadcast archive

HasanAra

Now on the record: what was said on stream, and when.

The Piker Broadcasting Service presents years of HasanAbi broadcasts, searchable by topic or exact phrase. Every result opens at its timestamp. The transcripts are machine-made, so check the tape before you quote it.

  • Phrase search
  • Timestamped results
  • Automatic transcripts

04 Music visualizer editor

Undertow

Give the track something to look at.

Stack Milkdrop, a spectrum, VU meters, artwork and timed lyrics in layers. Lay the video out in 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1, then export H.264 MP4 in your browser. It renders on your machine, so speed depends on the device.

  • Six templates
  • LRC / SRT / VTT
  • 16:9 / 9:16 / 1:1
  • H.264 MP4
  • Local export

05 Free link pages

Kork

One link in your bio, and everything else pinned to it.

Kork is a free link page for your socials, tip jars, music, video, QR codes and contact card, in a theme you pick. Tips go to your own accounts. We don’t take a cut because we never touch the money. It’s new, so expect rough edges.

  • No trackers

06 Private planner / self-hosted

Tadooer

The plan, and the one thing now.

Here is the day. Your tasks sit beside the calendar on one time grid. Choose one to work on; the rest wait in the list. Tadooer is a planner you run on your own server for one owner, with a web app and a Linux desktop client. There is no hosted service and no sign-up.

  • One owner
  • Your server
  • Tasks beside the calendar
  • One focus at a time

07 Twitch chat client / in migration

Chatty Cat

All six channels in one scrollback.

A self-hosted Twitch chat client. Open up to six channels and read them as one log, with your palette, your font and your line height remembered. It is the old Chat Thing, rebuilt in Go and TypeScript so we can host it. The rebuild is still in progress, and the original app stays up until it reaches parity.

  • Six channels
  • Your settings, kept
  • Self-hosted
  • AGPL

08 Print, audio and video archive

Arkhiv

An archive across formats.

Browse collections, read documents and play recordings. Arkhiv keeps source metadata and file variants beside each item, with delivery policies and rights stated rather than assumed.

A desk lamp lights an old radio set in a dark room. A note on the wall reads “Log every call. Initial it.”
